2020 Borough of Queenscliffe Council Election
The Borough of Queenscliffe is a Local Government Area situated on the eastern tip of the Bellarine Peninsula and includes the town of Queenscliffe as well as much of Point Lonsdale.
The Borough elects 5 Councillors from a single, municipality wide ward, using the proportional representation method of election.
- Susan Salter (Independent)
- Boyce Pizzey (Independent)
- Ross Ebbels (Independent)
- Robert Minty (Independent) - Elected via a countback in December 2019
- Bob Merriman (Independent) - Elected via a countback in November 2016
No candidate's declared yet.
The small size of the LGA means that a string personal vote will be key for anyone standing for election. The three incumbents who have served a full term, plus Merriman, who has effectively served a full term, should all be favoured for re-election if they stand again. Minty's position, having served for less than a year, is less than assured.
